Jacob Wenzel is a Catholic worship leader and speaker from Lansing, Michigan, whose heart for worship has been shaped by over a decade of hands-on ministry. From a young age, Jacob felt drawn to music and ministry—a calling that has led him to lead worship at events across Mid-Michigan, the U.S., and even internationally.

After earning his degree from Michigan State University, Jacob sensed a deep invitation from the Lord to fully devote his life to worship ministry. That conviction led him to work at Encounter Ministries, where he now serves as a key leader within Encounter Worship.

At the core of Jacob’s approach is a desire to create worship spaces marked by authenticity and the spontaneous movement of the power of the Holy Spirit. He’s passionate about helping people encounter God in a real and personal way—spaces where, like his own, hearts are transformed.
